Vegha VS Code

@vegha participant

Type @vegha in VS Code’s Chat view to talk to an assistant that knows about your collections. It uses the same tools and the language model you’ve selected in Chat.

The participant is sticky: after you start with @vegha, follow-up messages stay with it.

CommandWhat it does
/newCreate a request from a description, e.g. @vegha /new GET the current user from the users API with a bearer token.
/testAdd assertions and tests to a request.
/runSend a request or run a folder, then summarize the results.
/fixFind out why a request fails and fix it.
/explainExplain what a request does.
/chainRun a prerequisite, such as a login, first and capture its values.

Without a command, @vegha answers questions and makes changes as needed.

  • Open the request first. @vegha works on the active request when you don’t name one.
  • Ask /fix right after a failed send. It reads the last response, so it sees the same error you do.
  • As with Copilot tools, every edit shows a diff and every send shows its URL before it goes out.
